One in my series of small original embroideries capturing local views around the South Downs and coast of West Sussex.
This view was on a walk which ended at Nepcote Common at Findon - a lovely green space and the venue for the Findon Sheep Fair, with old cottages jostling for space around the edges. A lady in a fabulous yellow coat was walking her dog and I knew I had to capture the moment in a little embroidery sketch.
Piece is worked over cotton calico, painted and then embroidered with rayon threads.
Embroidery size 6" x 4"
Framed in oversized white mount in simple black frame. Frame size: 32 cm x 19.5 cm
Frame can be replaced with one in the same size with a choice of black, silver or light wood.
